Summer sensation SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE kicks off its fifth season with a two-night, four-hour season premiere Thursday, May 21 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Wednesday, May 27 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Hosted by Cat Deeley, the original dance competition series will inspire and amaze viewers as dancers skilled in styles ranging from hip-hop to ballroom compete to be named America's Favorite Dancer.

CMR'S AMBASSADOR'S STATEMENT

Dear Body of Christ,

It is with much grief, severe disappointment and an overwhelming fear of the Lord that Cross Movement Records is sad to announce that we will be discontinuing the forwarding and promotion of the Artist and Minister, The Ambassador AKA William “Duce” Branch, due to recent findings of moral failure in his marriage. It is CMR’s past, current and prayerfully, future position that living in moral compromise is unacceptable and never allowable in the lives of any of the ministers that we co-labor with. We continue to hold up the teachings of Christ as the standard for all Christians and especially those in Christian leadership and public ministry. Although it is a rare find these days, discipline is still one of the true marks of the true Church.

That being said, we also know according to Hebrews 12:6 that “whom The Lord loves He disciplines.” So we know that our beloved brother Duce is under the Lord’s loving care (Hebrews 12:5-11). We at CMR solicit your prayers for him as he begins the uphill climb of restoration through the process of repentance. We also ask that you remember his wife and children in your quiet time with our Lord as well. We are reminded by Galatians 6:1, that we are to work toward the restoration of our dear brother in due season and also to do such in the spirit of meekness, considering ourselves lest we also be tempted.

Lastly, some that have had this circumstance announced to them through other sources have begun to suggest some type of cover-up or a sweeping under the carpet by CMR because of a slight delay in this statement versus the announcement that has already happened in William Branch’s church. This is the farthest thing from the truth. This matter was unbeknownst to CMR and upon discovery we have taken the proper time to speak with the Lord, The Ambassador, his church leadership and many other Christian leaders regarding this issue. After seeking wisdom and allowing the appropriate amount of time to make sure we had all the issues in full consideration, we have come forward as quickly as we were able to after completing this process.

In conclusion, we apologize for the effect that this may have on many who have followed and supported The Ambassador, Cross Movement and Cross Movement Records for many years. Despite this unfortunate occurrence, CMR and all of its artist/ministers continue committed, our resolve unaffected, with the mission of making the message of the Cross known to the world. Again, we ask for your prayers as we keep our hands to the plow, heal our wounded and worship the God of our Salvation. We remain Christ’s and your servant.

MAT KEARNEY: City Of Black & White

When you record the type of smart, catchy songs Mat Kearney cut for his 2006 album Nothing Left to Lose, you end up spending a lot of time on the road. And after that album’s title track throttled up the charts, that’s exactly what Kearney did. Three years later, he returns with City of Black & White, an album informed by the travelling, performing and adventuring the Oregon-born, Nashville-based singer did while supporting his breakthrough album. An open-hearted album of self-discovery, City of Black & White is a chronicle of the people he met and missed during that journey. Musically, it’s an upping of the ante, laced with hooks and rhythms that are meant to sneak up on you quietly and quickly, en route to winning your love.

If Nothing Left to Lose sent Kearney on a marathon tour - during which he opened treks for the likes of John Mayer, Sheryl Crow, and The Fray, in between his own headline stints - it also built up to an eventual happy return to Nashville, his home for the past eight years. And City of Black & White definitely reflects that, as it’s marked by the pride and happiness that comes with spending five years trying to make it, and then finally getting there.

“At its core, this record is about community - finding it and losing it,” he says. “There’s definitely the theme of this travelling/sojourner/vagabond kind of guy landing in the midst of people that he loves, and who love him - guy/girl, musician, old people, all of that. It feels as if the travelling sojourner of Nothing Left to Lose has found a home, a group of companions, and a love. Many of the songs deal with what happens after that - after someone digs roots, allows himself to fall in love, to clasp arms with a brother, to dig in through high moments as well as the painful ones. It speaks of vulnerability more than distance - a place where someone can be pinned down to perseverance and heartbreak.”

Fitting for such a well-travelled writer, some of the songs took route in places as varied as Oregon and Turkey. “During a recent visit home, I broke into the University of Oregon music room, which was under construction,” he laughs. “I jimmied the door open and climbed down this balcony. I wrote ‘Straight Away’ there. ‘City of Black & White’ was born on a ferry as I crossed the Bosphorus River, which splits Istanbul in two as well as acting as an invisible dividing line between two continents. I was travelling with a friend celebrating what felt like victory after a five-year-long knife fight to establish myself as a new artist. I remember the water being dark and my friend turning to one side saying, ‘Look! It’s Europe,’ then turning to the other and saying, ‘Look! It’s Asia,’ then back again.”

Co-produced by Kearney and Nothing Left to Lose helmsman Robert Marvin, and recorded last year at Blackbird Studios in Nashville - where Jack White and Martina McBride and even Nicole Kidman were working in neighbouring rooms - the album finds Kearney going for a bigger sound - and getting it.

“It actually ended up sounding bigger than I expected; big in a late-’80s/epic kind of way. I knew that I wanted the whole record to feel good when I put it on. I wanted the drums and bass to demand something of your body, I wanted the songs to come to life when I played them live. I had been listening to a lot of Sam Cooke and I wanted the rhythm sections to make your head bob before you could decide if you liked the songs… I literally approached every song like I wanted it to feel good.”

The whole first half of City of Black & White, specifically, was written in that manner - to carry a Motown sort of heartbeat. “I was also listening to a lot of early U2 and Tom Petty, and songwriters like Randy Newman to try to figure out how they could be so concise and profound at the same time. If the last record was more stream-of-consciousness with lots of words and images, City of Black & White feels intentional and refined, attempting to be classic as well as grandiose. I didn’t want to hold anything back.”

City of Black & White also features Kearney playing a lot more electric guitar on record than he has in the past. In addition to acoustic and electric guitars, he plays “a lot of keys, sleepy ‘70s piano, weird synth, this weird glockenspiel, and the bells with a screwdriver - because I couldn’t find anything else to play ‘em with.”

A quintessential late-bloomer to music, Kearney didn’t write his first song until midway through college. Raised by hippie parents in Oregon, he was charmed early on by music, smitten with albums like Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Paul Simon’s Graceland. But it wasn’t until the summer between his junior and senior year at California State University Chico that his musical life began. Splitting for Nashville, he slept on a friend’s couch for what seemed like an eternity, before cutting the learn-as-you-go debut album Bullet in 2004. Three years later, and thanks in large part to VH1 - which kept “Nothing Left to Lose” in rotation for 45 consecutive weeks, before sending Kearney out as the headliner of the channel’s first You Oughta Know tour - he was playing Madison Square Garden and appearing on The Late Show With David Letterman. “Nothing Left to Lose”, “Undeniable” and “Breathe In Breathe Out” all cracked the Top 40.

“It still feels surreal every night,” says Kearney. “I feel like I may be fooling someone, like the audience is going to one day prove to be all cardboard cut-outs or something. I’m so grateful and honored to be doing what I’m doing.”

I've always been fascinated and had much respect for Skaters & Skateboarding. I've been waiting for this movie for a long time since I read about it on the July 2007 issue of Skateboard Mag. This movie feature Pros like Rob Dyrdek, Paul Rodriuez Jr., Ryan Sheckler, Terry Kennedy, Ryan Dunn, Adam Wylie, Yancie Arias, C.C. Sheffield & More. Written by Nino Scalia & Rob Dyrdek, Produced by Rob Dyrdek and Directed By Chris Zamocianyk under Berkela Films.

The movie is about Derrick Cabrera, like all skateboarders, dreams of being sponsored one day. He has all the talent in the world to make it happen but some major roadblocks to overcome before he can make the dream a reality. He is receiving pressure from all sides, his parents are stressing him because he is failing in school, his girlfriend thinks he is a loser, his best friend has become his rival because he is better than him. Things come to a head after Derrick gets arrested and a fight ensues with his father resulting in him running away from home. He does the only thing he knows how to do and opts to follow his dream to the Tampa Am contest, one of the only ways an unknown skater can get noticed.

Some console fans will spare no expense to show their loyalty to their chosen brand, but we're guessing the $2,500 price tag of these one-of-a-kind Xbox-themed sneakers will make even the most committed Microsoft devotee think twice.

The custom shoes -- which aren't endorsed by Microsoft or Nike -- are handmade by Sole Junkie, a California-based artist who specializes in customized sneakers. And they're not the most expensive ones he's ever made. "I have made shoes with 22k gold and diamonds on them," he told us in an interview. "I look at my creations as functional art...not just ordinary sneakers."

That would be functional in shoe terms, not in a gaming sense. Although you might hope that the $2,500 price tag would buy you cool Xbox interactivity, there's no hidden hard drive or controller functionality. Instead, the Xbox logos light up, courtesy of embedded fiber optics and a hidden switch.

According to Sole Junkie's eBay auction, "These are an exclusive pair...only one of its kind. Patent leather back with embedded fiber optic wiring in the shape of the XBOX logo. Will they sell? He seems confident. "I have had offers already. They mention the beauty and artwork in it, not the price tag. Don't know how serious the buyers are so far."

But surprisingly, many Xbox fans aren't overjoyed at his work. "The video game community hates the price and the fact I may have taken a beloved iconic gaming system and butchered it," he told us. "On the other hand, I've had very positive responses from others...more than negative ones."

So, $2,500 shoes that do nothing? We'll pass. But if your collection of gaming memorabilia isn't complete without this unique footwear, don't let us stop you from jumping in.

In my opinion, the design is definitely eccentric and well put together especially with the Nike Swoosh and color combos. But during these hard times in our economy, I'll probably settle to other Nike shoes. But it wouldn't hurt to cop a pair of these...If I'd had the budget for them.

HOLY HIP-HOP MAKES ITS MARK

Back in the day I was a lunch line rapper / after that I guess I was a punch line rapper / then I got saved and sometime after / ya boy came back as a frontline rapper… I’m out here preachin’ Christ on the frontlines / and no it ain't about rockin' stages / ‘coz some of my engagements are out on the pavements.

These words from Lecrae's "After the Music Stops" signify an underground movement that in the last several years may finally be coming into its own. And if that is the case, the artist behind those words is one of the reasons why, or so his record sales say.

In just shy of five years, Lecrae Moore (better known as “Lecrae”), has seen two out three of his albums chart in the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart. With multiple sales chart appearances, his third CD, Rebel—released in September of 2008—soared to the top of the Billboard charts, becoming the highest debuting album in the Christian rap industry.

Weighing in at No. 3 on iTunes's Top Rap/Hip Hop Album chart, just below mainstream rapper T.I.'s Paper Trail, Rebel also claimed CMTA's No. 1 position on the Top Hip Hop/R&B Album chart and the No. 2 spot on Billboard's Top Christian & Gospel Albums chart.

But the 29-year old rapper is not the kind to take credit.

“There’s nothing special about me,” Lecrae states. “It’s God honoring that which is faithful and exalts Him —deciding to use the music being made to His own glory and purpose. That’s all I do in my music. I want to give authentic, true and Biblical real life messages.”

Those messages started get the attention of a steadily growing “Holy Hip Hop” following in 2006 when Lecrae first charted with his sophomore CD, After The Music Stops, which debuted at No. 5 on the charts and included the hit singles, “Jesus Muzik” and “Prayin’ For You.”

The payoff for the three-time Dove Award nominee, who is co-owner of Reach Records and also has a licensing deal with Cross Movement Records, is altruistic for the most part. “Artists are the modern day philosophers, whether R&B, Hip Hop or Christian,” observes Lecrae, a graduate of North Texas University, who became a Christian at age 19. “For me, it’s being able to use that influence to help transform the world.”

He’s already started the process with his local Reach Life Ministries, the humanitarian arm of his Memphis-based label, which partners with organizations to equip local leaders with culturally relevant tools and projects designed to strengthen communities with the word of God. “The church can either retreat or engage,” Lecrae says of his ministry, “and that’s what we’re doing, we’re engaging the culture.”

For Lecrae and the artists signed to his label, that also means understanding the culture. “We’re what you would call hybrids,” he says. “We’re urban individuals who have experienced life in the inner city, but on the flip side, we’ve also had life experiences in a suburban context. Outside our cultural norms, there’s more exposure. And that’s the way this world is going, especially with kids.”

Growing up in Houston, the son of a single mother, Lecrae began rapping at age 11, but his dream of a career in hip hop was just child’s play. By age 21, he says, reality hit: “It’s time to get a job. You can’t eat off dreams.”

Gainful employment came by way of a Memphis cable company, where he worked his way up in the ranks from customer service to marketing executive, exhibiting the kind of leadership skills that have positioned him at the forefront of the Holy Hip Hop movement. “I was telling my bosses which channels were beneficial and what people wanted to watch,” says Lecrae.

But it was what he did on the weekends that would forever alter the course of his life. “I would volunteer at a juvenile detention center and write songs for the boys and rap them,” Lecrae recounts. “Upon their release from the center, some of the kids would ask that I put the music on CD.”

Word spread when one of his friends asked to take the music to a Christian camp for boys, and subsequently wrote a theme song for the camp. “It just kind of snowballed from there...” Lecrae says. “I’d find myself every weekend at a church or a ministry, and people would be asking ‘Where can I find your CD?’ and it just created a demand to the point where I had to make a decision: Am I going to stay working, or am I going to do this?’”

The result of that decision was his debut CD, Real Talk in 2005, attacking hard life issues with powerful messages and Lecrae’s personal testimony delivered in his southern rap style. That same year also marked the release of 116 Clique: The Compilation Album, a CD of artists signed to Reach Records, including Trip Lee, Tedashii, Sho Baraka and Lecrae, which took its inspiration from Romans 1:16. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believes; to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile."

For Lecrae, there’s an authenticity that comes with knowing he’s doing the will of God. “We’re not just making frivolous, fluffy music that feels good, but we’re trying to infuse our music with truth that will ultimately encourage and give people hope and life transformation through the gospel.”

One of the most interesting jobs in my opinion is a sign thrower. I’ve watched these kids for years now do the most amazing tricks with their signs. I’ve seen them ride the sign like a horse, throw the sign in the air, catch it like a guitar and then start playing it. I’ve thought to myself many times, “I want to try that!” I admire these kids; they’re taking a job that’s not very respected in the eyes of the business world and are making the most of it. However, I’ve also noticed, the most talented sign throwers tend to draw more attention to themselves than to the message of the sign they are holding. I remember one individual in particular. He was so good that I would look forward to getting stuck in traffic so that I could watch him. After about 10 times of driving by I realized, “I don’t even know what this guy is trying to sell!?” I’ve also noticed sign holders who are clearly not happy with their job, and they’re embarrassed to be holding their sign in public.

What’s your sign? What is the message people get when they watch you? Are you the person who draws more attention to yourself than to God? Are people more excited about what you do rather than what God is doing through you? Are you someone who is embarrassed or ashamed? We need to draw people in through our gifts, love and talents but then be sure to direct them to the message of the cross and to the one who died for us because of his love - The King of kings and Lord of lords…Jesus!

MOVEMENT: A Generation Finds It's Voice

Every generation has a responsibility to reach its own generation. And every generation must find its own voice in its worship of God and its declaration of truth. Our desire is to see a new generation of young people passionate about their faith and active in reaching their world for Christ. With this goal in mind the Refuge High School Ministry (of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa) and Calvary Chapel High School in conjunction with Movement Ministries are excited to announce that they will be hosting a missional event called “Movement.”

This is the second year of Movement. Last year Movement drew over seven thousand young people from all over Orange County, and witnessed over two hundred young people make a profession of faith in Jesus Christ. Movement will again be a two-day event with two goals in mind. The first goal of Movement is designed to inspire Christian youth to get moving, to get engaged, and to get passionate about their faith and reaching their generation for Christ. The second goal is to reach out to the un-churched and non-Christian youth of Orange County and the surrounding areas with the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a relevant and cutting edge event.

The first night, Friday May 29, is going to be a special night of worship with music by Phil Wickham and the Rock Harbor worship team, and a message by Mike Erre, pastor of Rock Harbor church. The goal of Friday night is to inspire and exhort the youth of Orange County and the surrounding areas to get passionate about their faith and challenging them to bring their friends out the following day.

The next day, Saturday, May 30th will start off with free workshops from 3-5PM at the Movement Conference. The goal of the conference is to provide practical workshops on issues regarding reaching and serving this next generation.

Then that evening from 5-10 PM we will have the main event, the Movement Outreach. Saturday night is designed as an outreach out to the un-churched and non-Christian youth of Orange County. This is not a Christian hangout night but rather a relevant, cutting edge event that young believers can invite their unsaved friends to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Under the context of The Washington Projects, brother/sister duo Jekob & Rachael Washington merge insightful hip-hop, scintillating soul, rippling R&B, old school funk and pure bred pop. It’s an astonishingly inventive merger that’s given them instant accessibility steeped in street credibility, while breaking down boundaries more than any other eclectic troupe in recent memory. And while this fitting moniker may appear to be a new force on the horizon, the pair previously comprised two thirds of the Word/Warner Brothers recording group SoulJahz, who took the industry by storm in the early 2000s with a jaw dropping spread of radio singles, press acclaim and prominent appearances.

For starters, the troupe performed alongside the lauded (and diverse) likes of No Doubt, Nelly, Counting Crows, Ja Rule, Ashanti, Garbage, Boyz II Men and Erykah Badu (to name a few) on a cross country tour in support of its major label debut The Fault Is History. That project also set a streak of precedents, making SoulJahz the first new hip-hop/funk/soul act in history to write, produce, executive produce and co-engineer a major label album, not to mention group member Rachael becoming the youngest composer/producer/songwriter in the history of Warner Brothers Records (she was 17, beating out Prince at 19). Extensive features followed on CNN Headline News, E!, Billboard, The WB, plus a slot on Sessions@AOL beside Christina Aguilera, 50 Cent, Shania Twain, Faith Hill and Red Hot Chili Peppers. But even with the tremendous amount of buzz and overwhelming fanfare, record label red tape soon wrapped itself around the burgeoning band, putting an extreme delay on what would’ve been its sophomore CD.

“Basically we were about to begin our new record after being gone on tour for at least a year and a half on that first record, but the entire staff of our label flipped upside down,” Jekob recalls of the incredibly trying time. “When it came time to talk with the new cats, they had a different thought process on where our sound needed to go and there ended up being a lot of problems. We basically had our second record shelved entirely and spent the next several years trying to get out of our contract.”

Despite the lack of a new CD, the band took trips to Iraq in 2005 and 2006 to entertain troops, though back home in America, their lawyers and a constantly switching staff of label executives were waging war of their own. Eventually the group was allowed to exit its deal, but at the expense of leaving the SoulJahz moniker in the label’s hands.

“As all of this went down, we literally retreated to Hawaii for a time because we have family out there, which were the bonds that helped keep us going,” Jekob contends. “But it actually all turned out to be a very good thing because we recharged our batteries and the break helped give us a fresh perspective and new start. SoulJahz has a certain amount of recognition as a brand, but The Washington Projects is a name that’s even closer to our hearts because no one can ever take that one away from us!”

With the battle flames dying down, The Washington Projects hit the studio for its debut in this format Commanders of the Resistance, an enthralling soundtrack of hope covering just as many relevant themes as it does sonic spectrums. The album had rave reviews not to mention both singles they filmed videos for took the 1 spots for 2 straight weeks on GMC, one of the biggest inspirational video channels in the world.

After touring extensively both in the states and abroad, with groups ranging from The Nappy Roots & Relient K, to Third Day & Toby Mac , they head back to the studio to lay down what they say will be one of the best inspirational records EVER! I LOVE ACTIVE! THE FIRST WAREHOUSE SALE WAS A SUCCESS. AS YOU CAN SEE ALL THE PEOPLE LINED UP TO PURCHASE THEIR STUFF, AND EVEN MORE PEOPLE RUNNING AROUND GRABBING VARIOUS CLOTHING & SHOES THAT ARE REMARKABLY MARKED DOWN. I ACTUALLY DIDN'T PURCHASE ALL THE STUFF THAT I'M CARRYING IN THE PICTURE, I'M HOLDING SOME OF THEM FOR ZELDA. BUT I ENDED UP PURCHASING SHOES AND A JACKET AT A VERY LOW COST. IT WAS SWEET RUNNING INTO SOME OF MY FRIENDS AT THE SALE ALSO. THE LINE FOR PURCHASE WAS A BIT HIDEOUS THOUGH BECAUSE WE HAD TO WAIT IN LINE FOR ABOUT AN HOUR BUT IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT. GO ACTIVE!

THE TURN OUT FOR THIS YEAR'S LIGHT THE NIGHT WAS GREAT. AND LIKE ALWAYS, ALMOST EVERYONE DRESSED UP FOR THE EVENT. HERE'S A FEW OF THEM IN THE PICTURE. AS A CHEERLEADER, DOMINIQUE D. AS A FOOTBALL PLAYER, JOSH AS MICKEY MOUSE, SAMMY A. AS AN ARMY KID, MARY AS A CANDY CORN WITCH, ZELDA AS A WHOVILLE CLOWN, PULE AS JAPANESE FARMER, JEREMIAH AS OPTIMUS PRIME, CLARISSA & JULIA AS 80'S GIRLS, FIA FIA AS A DISNEY PRINCESS, THE BALANCIER'S WERE ALL MIXED UP, ISRAEL AS A CLOWN, MICHAEL AS A LUCHADOR, NATE AS THE JOKER, CANDICE AS A FAIRY, AND ISABELLA AS A CUTE LITTLE DUCKIE. THERE WERE SO MUCH MORE PEOPLE WHO DRESSED UP THAT COULD NOT BE FEATURED HERE BUT THE NIGHT WAS SO MUCH FUN AND EXCITING. HOPE TO SEE YOU NEXT YEAR!

I WASN'T REALLY SURE WHAT TO BE, BUT I FIGURED SINCE I'M SO HOOKED ON THE SHOW EVERYONE IS RAVING ABOUT. THERE WAS ONE CHARACTER THAT I RELATE TO AND ENJOY THE MOST. HIS NAME IS...HIRO NAKAMURA. HIRO HAS THE ABILITY TO TELEPORT AND HE CARRIES AN AWESOME SAMURAI SWORD. HOPE YOU LIKE THE PICTURE OF ME AND THE ACTUAL HIRO NAKAMURA [MASI OKA]. YOU COMPARE WHETHER I PASS AS THE AWESOME CHARACTER FROM THE HIT SHOW, "HEROES." HIRO IS MY HERO!

FOR ALL THE FANATICS [INCLUDING ME] HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR CAME OUT THIS LAST WEEKEND AND I WAS ALREADY ABLE TO SEE IT TWICE THIS WEEK. THIS MOVIE IS FOR THE YOUNGER GENERATION AWAITING THEIR LAST YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL AND FOR THE OLDER GENERATION REMINISCING ON THE SWEET PAST OF SENIOR YEAR. I GOTTA ADMIT I LOVE THIS MOVIE AND THE PREVIOUS ONES. I THINK THAT WE NEED MORE MOVIES LIKE THIS FOR OUR YOUTH AND GENERATION. IT HAS A POSITIVE MESSAGE AND GOOD MORALS. 'CAUSE EVEN THOUGH WE LIVE IN SUCH A CORRUPT AND VIOLENT WORLD; IT'S IMPORTANT TO BE HAPPY AND HAVE SOME JOY IN OUR LIVES. I THINK THAT MUSIC AND THE ARTS ARE GOOD ALTERNATIVES TO SOME OF THE THINGS OUR YOUTH INDULGES IN TODAY. SO IF YOUR FEELING DOWN AND MAYBE A LITTLE SAD. IT'S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN. EVEN THOUGH IT'S SUCH A DARK HOLIDAY; WE ARE GOING TO "LIGHT THE NIGHT." TH EVENT WILL BE HAPPENING AT CCLW'S PARKING LOT TURNING IT INTO A FAIRGROUND LOT. WE ARE EXCITED BECAUSE WE HAVE THE BANDS READY 2 BOW [hip-hop], THE EFFECT [rock] & LIVE COMEDY BY SCOTT PROCTOR JOINING US THIS YEAR. WE HAVE LOTS OF FOOD, GAMES, PRIZES AND CANDIES. THE CHURCH IS PUTTING SOME AWESOME BOOTHS THIS YEAR TOO AND WE HAVE OUR PIE EATING CONTEST BACK ALSO. THROUGH THE NIGHT DIFFERENT PEOPLE WILL BE SHARING WHAT LIGHTING THE NIGHT MEANS. PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS EVENT THAT THE LORD WILL OPEN PEOPLE'S EYES AND RECEIVE THE SALVATION THROUGH THE HOPE WE HAVE IN HIM.

THE SATURDAY NIGHT EDIFY CONCERT SERIES HAS BEEN TREMENDOUSLY AMAZING AND A BLESSING TO THE BODY OF CC LIVING WATER. AND THIS WEEK WE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO HAVE "TAKE NO GLORY" BLESS US WITH WORSHIP AND SOME OF THE SONGS THAT THEY HAVE WRITTEN. THEIR HEARTS FOR MINISTRY WAS SO AWESOME. AND THE LORD TRULY SPOKE HS WORD TO ALL OF US THAT NIGHT.

ALSO, ON SUNDAY MORNING THEY LEAD THE CHURCH IN WORSHIP. I WAS ENCOURAGED BECAUSE THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT GOD'S PEOPLE SINGING TOGETHER FOR THE PURPOSE OF HIS PRAISE. HEARING HIS PEOPLE SING STIRRED MY HEART FOR HIM ALL THE MORE. SO TODAY, SING SONGS OF PRAISE AND WORSHIP TO JESUS FOR HE LONGS HIS CHILDREN TO WORSHIP HIM IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH.

C28 WAREHOUSE SALE

ON SATURDAY MORNING; ZACK, LINA, ROSSLINE, ISABELLA & I WOKE UP EARLY TO HIT UP THE C28 WAREHOUSE SALE. THEY HAD SUCH GOOD AND AMAZING DEALS ESPECIALLY WITH CHRISTMAS COMING UP. SHIRTS FOR $10, PANTS & JACKETS FOR $20, ETC. THERE WERE SO MANY PEOPLE SHOPPING AND WE EVEN RAN INTO A FEW OF CCLW LOCALS LIKE PATTI SEDOTA, BERGY AVILA, HOLLY HOLATO AND ZELDA DOMINGUEZ. WE HAD SUCH A GOODTIME GRABBING EVERYTHING WE LIKED AND THEN SORTING THEM OUT AT THE END BEFORE PURCHASING THEM. WE DEFINITELY SAVED LOTS OF MONEY ON THIS SALE.

THE SAD THING WAS, DUE TO LOW FUND-AGE ALMOST ALL OF US HAD TO PUT BACK A FEW THINGS BEFORE PAYING FINAL. I GUESS SAVING WAS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. DURING THESE TIMES OF HARD TIMES WE REALLY HAVE TO LEARN TO BE WISE WITH THE MONEY GOD GIVES US.

THEN AFTER THE SALE WE ALL WENT TO MY HOUSE. I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE EVERYONE BY COOKING BREAKFAST FOR ALL OF THEM. ZELDA REALLY ENJOYED THE PRESENTATION OF THE FOOD AND SET-UP OF THE TABLE. AFTER FEEDING ME 365 DAYS A YEAR TIMES 5...IT'S THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVER COOKED FOR HER. EVERYONE WAS BLESSED AND STUFFED AFTERWARDS AND I THINK EVEN FELT SLEEPY LATER ON.
